We took the T. It was more than we expected (or budgeted for) but it was well worth it in the end. With a baby an a toddler and two weeks on the ship, a suite made the trip exceptional and unforgettable

Any ideas on how many T's were available when you checked in? We are on the WBPC in May and and are considering the upgrade to the T. I would expect the upgrade price might vary based on the number available of a certain category.

I think there were 5 category T's that I could have chosen. This included two of the aft handicap category T's. All of the T's were taken for upgrades by the time the cruise started. Worth it for a two week cruise!

Love this thread!! I am def going to keep checking and hope people post their current upgrade prices! I would love to upgrade at port to a Cat T on my 30th birthday cruise!!

We opted for the Cat 7A and was nicely surprised that it was an obstructed verandah (6634) and not a true navigator's verandah. Very glad we went for the upgrade, especially for a 14-day cruise with lots of sea days. The Cat 7A was available because someone had JUST upgrade to a suite. Sometimes it's timing!

We had two rooms so the cost of the upgrade would pay for a whole cruise.
Our ride was supposed to show up at 10:00 to take us to port and didn't show until 12:30. Sometimes I hate relying on family!

I don't think that's possible. You can upgrade one and not use that room or use it for luggage. It wouldn't make sense to cancel the second room since there is no refund within 14 days of sailing.

I'm wondering about this as well. Could you use the total credit from the 2 rooms towards one bigger room. (5 people staying in 2 11B rooms would like to upgrade to a one bedroom suite)

I believe it is one room for one room. You can't cancel the other room. You keep it and either it use it for luggage or let it sit there empty.

It's only 1 room for 1 room.

All 5 can stay in the one bedroom suite, but you will only get the credit for one of your original rooms. The second room remains yours to use or not use as you please.

Oh drat! I was hoping to use the total credit from the 2 rooms, since this would be a more substantial total amount, and make a smaller upgrade charge. I guess I'm out for an upgrade then.
