Celebrations at Disney-not the same month etc

So, does anyone ever celebrate a birthday in Disney even though it's not their actual birthday? We are saving EVERY penny-every birthday check, not doing gifts and instead putting that money towards Disney or a character meal etc to make this trip happen so essentially we are all celebrating our birthdays when we are there and christmas's too. It's our first trip, our little family of 3, that we are paying for on our own but not our first trip to Disney. The grandparents paid for us to go last year but a cast member told me to ask for first visit buttons anyways? We are celebrating recovering from an injury and a year of physical therapy but that doesn't really fall into a Disney category for celebrating.....So Every time I call the reservation line with something to do with our trip they ask if we are celebrating anything and in a sense we are....but it's not really definable. So, I am thinking we'll just go and have fun and not worry about special buttons etc? What do others do?? I don't know why I am over thinking this......I just am!

Some people do celebrate birthdays that are months away, but we never felt the need to celebrate something on every trip to WDW. The only time we have ever had anything to celebrate was the year we took the kids with us for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were there on the actual anniversary and celebrated with dinner in the castle. I would just go and enjoy the trip and not worry about having anything to celebrate.

Isn't there a generic "I'm Celebrating!" button? I thought I saw someone get that for their last chemo treatment. That way the CMs will ask what you're celebrating, etc
