Updated the formula on page 2 of the FE List to now show the Cabin Count whether we know your number or not.

Navy Pier?
Just talked to a tour vendor in Key West and they said we are currently scheduled for the Navy Pier. When you are looking at the map, it is the one on the long J-hook by Fort Zachary Taylor. The Navy Mole The Navy Mole requires transportation to get into town. You will be met on the pier by trolleys and given shuttle service into town. There is no cost to this service. It is provided by the city of Key West. You will be transported to Mallory Square (in front of the Sponge Market). Walking is not an option, due to Homeland Security regulations. The Navy is still active on this pier. Reminds me of the time I was almost arrested in Martinique for insisting on a tour of the cool old fort in broken French (read: active military base) |

Last trip, I earned the prize & trophy for finishing the Maple Pecan Pie dessert challenge at Le Cellier. Only one of four that I am aware of. |

Then you scroll through that list and find your dates, and click on this link: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?p=45374428 Your FE list for the Dream for your dates will be there, hope you are able to connect successfully with the group. My helping you find page 2 of my list wont help you get into that FE. |

You should read through the entire meet. You should post that you are interested in FE. Okay just read through your posts. I only saw one other person post about FE. Probably no one else is interested. Also, you just posted last night. You need to give people time to respond. |

There are some good tips on power strips and such a few pages back. Christi will tell you to double the money and half your stuff. I will recommend you don't miss the quest adult event. Many times it is the first night and overlooked. Bring a stack of singles for the room service guy if you like a late night cheese tray or cookies and milk. Best advice is that DCL gives you too much to do. Pick your key items and enjoy them, there will be a next cruise for the others, and a next for the rest.

The other is to get the kids excited about kids club. They are the perfect age, and if they know about the cool stuff there like the princess party and making flubber etc the kids will ditch you and make you have some adult time. Then you can mix in the family parties in studio c around dinner for family time.

I have 5 year old twins and this will be their 3rd Disney Cruise. I know when we took the sister ship, the Disney Wonder, a couple years ago both my kids seemed to have more fun than on the Disney Dream. My kids love Pluto's PJ party and there will be a pirate day when Captain Hook comes for a visit. Other charcters come to the Oceaneers Club for story time, etc. My son usually likes to go and he is hoping they do the Piston Cup Challenge on this cruise. I think they build and race cars but I'm not sure. One bit of advice, before you board there is a place to check in your kids for their Mickey Band and the line is always long. If you don't want to wait in the long line you can also go to the Oceaneers Club or Lab once on board to get their Mickey Band.

Thanks for all the tips! The kids are very excited to go, it's all my daughter has talked about for 3 days now (thinking I should have told them closer to the time) glad there are at least two other 5 year olds on the ship :-) do they do a pirate party on the ship and do you get to have character meals? My daughter keeps asking.

You will have an assigned character breakfast. It will be on a sea day. It will be based on your dining rotation. It will be Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip & Dale. The characters have a designated route through Parrot Cay. They will make a brief stop at each table for a picture and autograph signing. |
