Hi there! Thanks. Sorry I've been missing. We had a death in the family last week. So we are slowly picking up the pieces and trying to get things back to normal around here. Well, a new normal I guess.

I am hoping to start a TR very soon. Hang in there!

I love your reviews and pictures! Sorry you were disappointed in GF. We need to stay there sometime. Also I love the pics of my favorite resort, Polynesian! Too funny you got the same room we had a couple years ago in Samoa. We love that room because it's on the end and has a nice view!

It seems I hardly get on DIS much anymore. Even when I plan trips. But I do read trip reports still of course. I can't wait to read your's. Yes we loved that room. From your pics though... it seems that tree grew so tall!! We had a nice clear view of the pool and marina. To the right we could partially see the castle. Also stayed in Tokelau with a balcony and loved that too.

I finally finished this tread and your review of the Poly. So sorry to hear you had a death in the family.

So I said to Bob what would it take to get you to stay at the Poly next trip, if you remember He did not ever want to stay there. So he says just ask

I been thinking of going late Oct or Early Nov for F & W but may instead aim for early March 2014 now depending on what discounts are offered.

I agree about the buses. I can't understand how the GF is always the last stop.
Whether it is to be dropped off or what I think is the worst, get picked up. We usually stay at the Poly and would always get a seat. Then the bus would drive over to the GF and there were times when not everyone would fit on the bus and they would have to wait for the next one.

They combine CR, Poly & GF in that order because the direction of the roads.

I really think for what Disney charges for the rooms, the GF should have it's own bus.
Especially during peak times.

We did a split CL stays with both resorts and like the Polynesian better.
One night my DD then 12 went to GF lounge at 8:30 p.m. and asked for a soda. The worker said no! My DH was floored and "asked" her again.

One thing I will say about the GF club, the beds were the mostcomfortable we've ever slept in!

The buses are ridiculous. I'll never understand the logic there either.

Exactly - for what they are charging for those resorts bus sharing shouldn't even be an issue.
