Atlantic City Dance Hall centerpieces

I tried searching on Disboards but didn't see a thread about this - if there is one my apologies!

I was wondering if you could bring your own centerpieces for a reception in Atlantic City Dance Hall - the Passporters book mentions no outside vendors, I didn't know if DIY centerpieces counted as an outside vendor.

No they will not allow you to bring in centerpieces.

ETA: The rule isn't just that outside vendors can't provide it, it is that floral, decorations, and entertainment must be provided by Disney.

Darn! Do you girls know how willing Disney is with customizing centerpieces? I had ideas for some non-floral centerpieces, but I didn't know how willing they were to work with ideas...

Hi D23bride! We're not 100% sure on ADH, a lot will depend on how much it is (with having to go through Disney with everything), but it's our first choice. Ditto on wedding date - not too sure yet, probably in a little over a year and a half (exact date pending on jobs )

We want a 20s-40s Atlantic City theme, and I love these centerpieces vs floral centerpieces...I was hoping to make them myself but if that's not allowed, would Disney Floral be able to make something along these lines? (F anyone knows!) Thanks girls.

Hello All! I just had my wedding on 4/10/11...they will not allow outside vendors or DIY items however they do allow 2 personal items suck as a favor and name card to be placed. for every additional item they will charge you...if you can somehow make your "personal items double as decor you may be able to swing it. HTH! Aloha!

I know this is an old thread but found it through a random search. These centerpieces are adorable! We too want a vintage Atlantic City theme! Did you ever find out how flexible Disney Floral is with designing non-floral centerpieces? I would also be interested to know! Thanks!

Aren't they cute?! We haven't found out yet, just the standard "all decor must be provided by Disney". If we hear more specifics as it gets closer I'll let you know!
