Go IRISH!!!!!! Been a fan my entire life, used to go to South Bend every year.

I also cheer for the Gators, I adopted them as my home team when I moved to Florida 7 years ago. Plus Shands took care of my hubby after he had a stroke due to a VAD at 42 years old.

Then there's my hometown team Rutgers. Got to see them in the Russel Athletic Bowl this year. Been cheering for them since they couldn't fill the stadium and the bowl was just like old times when they lost.

So far I'm 0-2 in the Bowls.....come on Irish, break the streak!!!!!

I'm happy to see the Aggies win (and win big, I might add) because so many people in the Big 12 were saying that the Ags' success this year was proof that the SEC isn't as good as everyone thinks it is. Well, the fourth place team in the SEC certainly kicked the snot out of the Big 12 co-champs, so if the SEC really isn't good, what does that say about the Big 12?

Oh, and I went there, so I'm always happy to see them win

He laughed and joked about it ... then waited until UC's annual senior banquet to tell the team he was leaving. Yep, he did it AT their banquet! The team was so upset and angry that many of them walked out, and I don't blame them. He kept saying he was 100% committed to being here and those kids were blindsided.

It was disgraceful the way he chose to leave. I understand - you have a better opportunity to make more money, to go and do what you consider your dream job. But if you take that job, which he did prior to the banquet, the least you can do is be a man and stand up and say you did.

I honestly don't think UC could have won the Sugar Bowl even if he had been here, so for me it doesn't have anything to do with that aspect of it.
I feel for y'all and the team. Been there twice now.

Poor little Arkansas State University in the Sunbelt Conference had that happen two years in a row. The coaches come in saying they love the city, love the state, here to grow the team, blah blah blah. You get where you want to slap the coaches. Yes, I know the SEC teams can pay more, but while they are interviewing, they are still lying and publicly saying they aren't going anywhere. It's gotten to be a joke that if you want to coach in the SEC, apply for the ASU head coaching job. Our seniors this year had 3 coaches in 4 years. Last year, Hugh Freeze left us days after we won the conference and went into the SEC. This year Gus Malzahn did the exact same thing back to Auburn days after winning the conference. Both years, we were invited to the Godaddy.com bowl. We fell apart last year with no head coach. This year, they went in fighting. Their DC became the interim and they were determined to win this time. At least Kent State's coach went to the bowl game with them.

Being from Arkansas (yes, I cheer for both AR teams and my Hogs stunk big time in 2012), we love the SEC so we even had to cheer for AL. I will say that ASU fans were disappointed last night how ESPN was so obviously pro Kent State, but also showed more AL footage and fans than they did the current game. One of my favorite Facebook updates last night was:

If you learned nothing else tonight, you learned that Arkansas State had a great season and Alabama is playing tomorrow night.
