First long Disney cruise

This is our 3rd disney cruise. But 1st time on the magic and 1st 8-night cruise. How do meals work on that many nights? Is there a formal night. What's not to miss on all those sea days? Anything on the magic that isn't on the wonder?

Also, has anyone done the one-day at wow from the ship? How does that work?

Thank you

You will eat in 2 of the MDRs twice, and the 3rd one three times. Every time you go to dinner, you will have a different menu.

Chances are there will be both a formal and semi-formal night. There are different names for the same areas on the Magic that are on the Wonder: Cadillac Lounge is Sessions; Triton's is Lumiere's; Wavebands is Rockin' Bar D; Route 66 is Beat Street; Beach Blanket Buffet is Topsiders.

Oh, and Outlook Cafe isn't on the Magic (at least now - who knows after the drydock).

You will sign up for a specific bus from the port to WDW. The busses returning to the ship start at 3:30 until about 10:30. You can catch any of those coming back. Your KTTW card is your ticket into the park, but it can't be used for charging things like on the ship. I've read it's best to concentrate on one park for the day, as the travel time between parks can kill a good part of the day. But you ticket is a park hopper.

You can sign up for your bus now under cruise activities for that day. We are going in early March and already signed up for the 8:15am bus to MK. Parks open at 9 so you can take an earlier bus if you want to get there before they open.
