Believe it or not, I usually pop in daily to see what is going on and enjoy the good vibes of this thread. I tend to lurk though, which is why, after being part of Disboards since 2007, I only have about 330 posts. Plus, so many members here know more about the BC/YC than I. I thought I read some where that BC was having their hot water pipes or something like that changed. Has anyone heard of this? The reason I ask is we stayed there in Sept. 2012 & we never had any hot water, only luke warm. A maintenance man told us there wasn't much to be done because we were on far end (think "secret door out towards Epcot") and the hot water tank was in the middle of the hotel & by the time it got to us, it wasn't hot. He's advice was run all the faucets for 10 min. on hot, then take a bath or shower. Anyway that never worked. So when I read something about the hot water pipes I thought maybe they were going to fix the problem. So anyone heard any news about that?
On a side note, other than the hot water, we loved staying BC & being on that side of the resort!

For our first BC stay, we arrived by Magical Express and disliked the experience. We waited in the airport for what seemed like a long time. We then dropped guests off at Port Orleans (I think.) We didn't use it to get back to the airport or on our next trips.

I am signed up for it this trip because I am hoping for the chance to be a FP+ tester. DH will actually be working in the area that week so he may just pick us up. We will likely have to use it for our departure because DH will have to leave our vacation a day early.

Does anybody know if the ME goes straight to the airport from BC? Does it still stop at another hotel before arriving at BC from the airport?

The last time we took the ME it stopped at CBR, both ways. It was a very long stop both times.

I wonder if I could go over to ME to see if they are testing out FP+, sign up for it since I will be on the ME list then have my husband pick us up.

We've taken ME to BC several times in the last few years, with our most recent ME to BC this past October. We actually don't mind ME at all and our waits in the airport are usually relatively short. Our kids love the video and the hoopla. On the way to BC, we nearly always stopped at POR and BWI first. I have more difficulty recalling ME from BC to the airport, so I won't attempt it!

When we took the ME in July, we stopped at the Boardwalk, then YC, then BC. On the way back to the airport, we stopped at CBR. It wasn't a major deal to us.....

Maybe it just seemed to take forever because our friends (who drove down from NC while we flew) were waiting for us in the CL lounge while we sat on the bus!

I don't know about FP+. I thought I remember reading somewhere that they have only rolled out trials sporadically and it is not something you can ask for.

As for the ME, when we stayed at the BC this summer, we stopped at POFQ then went to the BW and the YC. Fortunately most of the bus was empty, so each stop was quick. On the way back, we only stopped at CBR, but, as the bus was packed, I assume that there were a few stops before us.
