So, just as a reference, 10, 15, 20, 30 mins from the time we leave the villa to the different parks?

not sure how they calculated them (time spent waiting on a bus vs time spent on a bus), but here are some ball-park numbers:

staying at AKV-kidani means being the first pickup on the way to a park, so 1) it's easier to be sure to get a seat and 2) it takes a few minutes longer.

but the bus from AKV-jambo house to MK does take a while (at least 20 minutes travel time plus however long you have to wait at the bus stop). i love the atmosphere of AKV - the animals, the smells of the jambo house lobby when the boma chefs are cooking, the exotic theming and music - but it does "feel" a long way from the MK, so there are trade-offs.

First AKV is awesome i am going with my DW and DD(12) in march,,NOW bay lake is close to MK, that is a great choice too...BUt either one is good and rent points,,i do it alot and its a great way to experience a deluxe resort and do it in a much cheaper way. There are many qualified owners who do it alot and have good references, and will be glad to help you rent, make sure you look at the rent/trade board on this site and you will have many options to choose from.
