Nothing was ever a *no-no* at home, but there were times for different things. Mealtimes were limited to what I prepared (no picky eaters allowed from infancy). They happily ate what was prepared because that was the way it was.
But, nothing was off limits at snack times at home or on vacation. They could have sodas, cookies, candy, chips, whatever, when they ate their regular meals as scheduled. They are only kids once, and I well remember how much I enjoyed *junk* in my childhood. No overweight kids either.

One trip I had everyone promise: one ice cream a day. It was a good trip.

The only thing we asked the kids to avoid at home we also ask them to avoid at WDW: sugared soda. Diet is fine, but not regular.

Same here, I do not drink soda nor do I let my kids so their splurge at Disney is getting to try the sodas at Club Cool each trip!

My DD and DS can have the light lemonade at Disney. They still drink milk and lots of water while at Disney. No pop at Disney or home. We let them have ice cream and snacks at Disney a lot more frequently then we would at home.

That's the same here. As long as they eat the healthy food first, we don't have anything that is off limits. So I guess nothing special as Disney.

My only rule - at home and at WDW, is no sugar in their breakfast FOOD! (No Poptarts, cereal, muffins, etc.) It has to be protein rich and filling. But their drinks....I let them have pop, cappuccino's (my older son is OBSESSED with them!!), coffee, whatever. But the food, has to be decent. All other meals - anything goes. Popcorn and almonds for lunch? OK! Slushee to drink? Bring it on!

I don't like the big lollipops as I think they are a waste of money b/c my kids get bored with them SO fast.

Myself, my fave bfast at WDW is an egg and cheese croissant and a big Coke. It's my splurge each day! YUM!!
