If it's like the project my boys did years ago (both in their 20's now) you cannot alter the egg-no cooking, emptying the shell, etc. They could use more than 3 sheets of paper though.

Make it look like the boxes light bulbs come in, were it's suspended in the middle. Cut tabs to put into slits to hold the paper together.

If this is your last resort, I think you need some work on your research skills. All you need to do is look it up using a search engine like google.

Is this your project? Your kid's project? It's not like this is the first time it has ever been assigned.

I had this same project as a kid. I used one sheet to make an origami box, used one sheet to make tiny origami balloons to put inside the box for impact absorption, and shredded to last sheet to add extra impact absorption. My egg survived.

We had a wonderful time, but did have our moments!

Pretty much down to my hips on one side, but nice and perky on the other

Every Physics class in the country does this project. Speak to your teacher for hints. Or take a look in your Physics text.

For what it's worth, I just googled "egg scrambler project Physics" and came up with a wealth of information.

Or
"Egg drop project"
Or "egg drop paper"

There are all sorts of suggestions - even YouTube videos and step by step directions if you are totally stuck
