Okay, I have to bring back this old zombie thread for this. See the post above about Meatloaf and getting Minniem3 through chemo? Well, this is her daughter and I messaged Meat on facebook and copy pasted her words and told him how important his album was to her and he responded!!!!!

"I believe that is what music is for not just mine but all. No matter the Artist If it touches you and helps you are just makes you happy . It 's there for you. Glad Jim and I could help.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ban ana::banan a:

and for good Meat measure -
"i find myself striving to remember my mother constantly; to sound like her, to act like her, to teach like her, to pray like her."

I witnessed something very moving the weekend after 9/11. I was at a race weekend and every morning at 8 they play the Star Spangled Banner. On this morning i was in the infield in line to get coffee. The Anthem started and every single person stopped what they were doing and turned towards the flag. The concession workers, everyone.

The line of cars and golf carts coming in all stopped and got out to face the flag. It was an amazing moment and still puts a lump in my throat.

Funny you should nention 9/11. I simply couldn't listen to music for almost a week after the tragedy.

Two things came to mind whike reading this thread. One was "I Hope You Dance" which I always associate with ny daughter's graduation from elementary school.

The other was seeing Paul McCartney's first concert at Citi Field. Sir Paul sang like he was having the time of his life, and the mood was infectious.
