Hoop Dee Doo NOT on Dining Plan?!?!

I just noticed on the Disney website it says that the Dining Plan is NOT accepted at the Hoop Dee Doo!

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/di...musical-revue/

We have always done it as part of the dining plan AND when I booked it a few months back I was told I could use dining plan credits to pay for it.

Any idea what happened? Is there a chance that this is just a mistake?

The link you posted doesn't seem to work, but this one does:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/din...musical-revue/

This one also shows that the dining plan is accepted. Chances are not all of the website is updated for the 2013 plans.

Actually, your link also says that dining plans are NOT accepted. However, I am not trusting anything the fabulous new website is saying. To the OP, just check the 2013 dining plan brochure - it still lists HDDR as a 2 credit show. I would not worry! We also have it booked, and my reservation says that dining plans are accepted - that is what I will go by!

On a related note, if you last went to the show years ago, the theme song has changed. I was kind of disappointed, as I had been singing that song for years since our last visit and was excited to finally share it with my kids....so that they too could get it stuck in their heads for decades!

I heard that Disney didn't own the rights to the original and, therefore, had to change it.

Look at that web page again. On the right hand side. Under where you click on the sample menus. Above where it says Reserve in advance. There is a check mark next to the words Disney Dining Plan Accepted. That means that it DOES take the DDP.

I could not find anywhere on that page where it said that the DDP was not accepted.

I'm not sure what's happening but when I look at it, I can clearly see that it says "Dining plan not accepted."

I refreshed my browser a couple of times too but it stays the same...

@#$%*& website. Just ignore it then, because what you are seeing is definitely wrong. It most certainly is on the DDP- gratuity and tax included.

Exactly. The flabulous new website! Checked my email confirmation, and it clearly states it is a 2 credit, dining plan accepted show/meal! I would always call before I freaked out too much! That dumbo website also has several of my ADR's listed as 5 people instead of 4, and sometimes 4 adults instead of 2 adults, 2 children. I called to make sure the ones with 5 were changed to 4, but the CM said their computer showed only 4 on the reservation. Lesson learned: DON'T TRUST THE NEW WEBSITE!

I just recently book this for our upcoming March trip (we leave in exactly 2 months!) and we used the dining plan to pay for it. They just took my credit card for a guarantee.

If you look further down the page it also says this.

This show may be cancelled due to severe or inclement weather.

This is an indoor show and tht inclement weather would have to be extremely bad. The new web site stinks.
