Do CMs get discounts on park tickets?

Like if you were going to buy them for a family member?

Yeap. When I was there, it was something like a 40% discount. You also can get them a discount on rooms. Be prepared for many friends and family members whom you haven't spoken to in years to come out of the wood work.

Which reminds me. I'm planning a trip next January. Remember that really good conversation we had that one time on the dis? No? Oh, well we did. Anyway, I was thinking that since we are SUCH good friends and you are now a CM....

I remember from our trip back in 2009 treating my aunt to a day at the parks who at the time lived in Florida. They gave her a discount on her park ticket so we didn't end up paying full price. So Florida residents get a discount also. It was great spending Easter Sunday with her.

I am not 100% sure as my niece is the CM not me. She gets a certain amount of tickets to bring people in for free. (she is suppose to be with them). She uses those for her immediate family like Mom, Dad, Sister, and best friend.

She can purchase tickets for others at about a 10% discount (it's a little more but very close to that). She does get a better discount when she books your room and dining though.

I am sure they will go through everything when you go to training. Most of all I noticed my niece is now more "quiet" about her job and what she gets and what she (her actual job)does . I am sure Disney likes it that way.

Good Luck during training and your first few weeks. Enjoy!!!!

The discount on tickets isn't as good anymore. It's pretty much in line with the Florida Resident discount. And sometimes the deals that Disney runs are better.

CMs may purchase tickets of up to five days and AP/PAP for 10% discount from gate at Company D locations.

Is that better or the same as the FL resident discount? I want to get my mom an AP, but I want to do the payment plan. Guess I'll just use the FL res rate.

DD is a CM. I believe you will get the entire Disney rundown at Traditions. Are you going soon?

The Florida Resident rate is a better discount.
