Order cancelled by neutrogena

Very Poor customer service
Placed my order on 12/14 and a temp charge was charged to my cc that day.
I called on 12/31 and the phone rang and rang and no one answered. I did a "contact us" email, and today I was sent an email that said my order was cancelled. Well I won't buy from them anymore.
I never received my order and my the temp charged to my cc was removed.
This was the holiday promotion...
and I was never notified my email that my order was cancelled.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope that you were not relying on it as a holiday gift. I agree that it was poor customer service to cancel an order without notifying the customer.

My order arrive with no problems. I even had shipping updates via email. But I don't think I will be ordering from them again. I don't like not having a human being to speak with when I have a problem.

I called on January 2. Had placed my order early in December. The customer service rep told me that she had no record of my order number and that she would have the IT department call me. She also told me that it had probably been canceled because of the vast amount of orders. No word as of today from IT. Honestly it was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but when it did not arrive by Christmas Eve I substituted something else. For me it wasn't a make or break thing, but this is the second company that I have had this happen with. They never notified me either - I had to call to find out what was going on with my order.

Here is the second email I received from Neutrogena. They had no problems putting a hold on my credit card when they received my order, so I guess the technical difficulties were not with the cc processing...
Won't be ordering from them again. The items were for me, not a gift.

I also placed an order due to seeing it here. I got a confirmation email & a review my purchase email, but I got nothing. It is not showing on my cc & I have received nothing. I haven't been able to get through on phone yet. My DH also placed an order 12/14 & nothing. However, I had mentioned this to my mom, who placed a small order 12/15 & received her order prior to 12/22 with the free rain bath.

I have a question and I am not being ugly? I have lots of friends that do this type of thing, but why do I want to spend $15.00 to get a free body wash?
Seems like an expensive free body wash.

The original offer was for a free body wash and free shipping with any purchase. I bought a bar of facial soap. It cost just over $2 with tax. Two dollars for a bar of soap and a large bottle of body wash was a pretty good deal. They changed the offer pretty quickly to a minimum purchase of $16. That made the deal a little less sweet. But if you purchased their products on a regular basis anyway, then anything free is nice.
