While we were able to set our thermostat to 65 with no probs- when we came back to the room after the park sometimes is was set back to 68 or 74. I just assumed that housekeeping turned it back while the room wasn't being used to conserve. We were able to turn it back to 65 with no problem while we were in the room, and it's stayed that way unless we changed it.

Do the Little Mermaid rooms have mini refrigerators in them?

SO glad to hear it's easy to have maint. come override it. I was so worried about this, lol.
Do you think mousekeeping was turning the therm. up while you were out? that's what it sounds like from other posts...

We are planning on staying at the AoA resort this August. We have never stayed on site before. Any tips or extra information I should know?

For those who have stayed in the suites, how doable would it be to have 4 adults there? We are traveling with both sets of grandparents; we're currently booked for the little mermaid rooms, but should a discount become available (and I'm assuming that the LM rooms would be excluded), we might consider a suite instead. But obviously, the grandparents don't need a full suite each to themselves....would it be cramped to have 4 adults in one? Oh, and they have hung out before, we all do holidays together, etc....so it's not like it would be their first time meeting or anything! But I'm not sure how the space is set up, if it would still be too awkward....thoughts? Comfort level of the pull out couch or table bed for adults?

There should be plenty of room. I believe the room size for the suites are like 562 versus the LM rooms of 211.

I think you'll be fine. We had 3 adults and 3 small kids and it wasn't cramped. I slept on the pull out couch and I wasn't uncomfortable. I'm also short. If you are tall, maybe not so much.

Well the spring promo won't work for us. We are staying at the Little Mermaid rooms & we could save $200 if we switch to AS Sports. Not worth it to me as this is our "girls trip" & we are looking forward to the LM rooms.

I feel your pain! we will be in the LM rooms as well in April. and, no I don't want to switch to a dif. value we have stayed at before.

alas, I think it will be quite some time before the LM rooms are available for a discount. everyone who wants to try the new roesort and doesn't need a suite will be booking these without a discount! (like us)

DH and I just stayed in a suite with my parents and they're very roomy. The suites basically have three rooms plus two bathrooms: One private bedroom with a private bathroom, then the living area/table-bed area with convertible bed and convertible sofa and the second bathroom. Check out one of the many YouTube videos of the suites for a look at them to see how roomy they are.
