Online Check In
I'd read that online check in was available from 10 days out from your arrival date. I've also noticed that up until recently I had a reminder from my reservations page that T-minus 10 Days I could do an online check in. However today it showed me that I could check in online as of now (over 30 days before we actually arrive). So I did it, and it seemed to complete properly, even giving me a confirmation page to print out.
Anyone else seeing this? I'll double check everything within that 10 day window of course, just seems a change from everything I've seen and read here prior to today. |

In preparation for the FP+ rollout, you are now able to do online check in 60 days out. Once it's rolled out, you'll be able to make your FP+ reservations 60 days out but will have to be checked in first.

Yes, I'm 20 days away and checked in yesterday. There was no notice, but bringing up my res there was a link for online check in. I had heard that you can now check in earlier, so that's what prompted me to look.

I wondered how it all worked being greater than the 45 day payoff date. Do u have to have the trip paid off to check in?

No. But if you're not paid off in time and your reservation gets cancelled, your online check-in and any FP+ reservations are also cancelled.

If you are checked in and they roll out FP+, you're all set to start making your FP+ reservations.

What happens if you need to change your dates? My reservations are always room only, because I want the flexibility to be able to cancel fairly last minute if necessary. My main concern is jury duty requests. Our county mails them about four weeks out, so by three weeks out I can be pretty sure I'm OK for the trip. As much as I would love checking in online at 60 days, if I have to move the dates a few weeks one way or the other but it stays under the same reservation number, what happens? I figure the FP+ would be cancelled and you would have to rebook, but does the online check in stand, or would you have to re-do it?
