Booking Palo, 2 Rooms Not Linked

We are getting ready for our window to book opening up. We are traveling with friends. They have early seating and we have late seating but we want to all go to Palo one night. How do we do this? Do we just book the same time and let them know when we get on the boat that we want to sit together? We do not want to link reservations.

Thanks

Why don't you want to link your reservations?

Not sure when your cruise is in order to book Palo's. I'm linked to our BIL and SIL's rooms BUT still I could only make ressies for us in our own room. She had to make ressies for her As there was no longer a table of 4 available??? So we booked 2 seperate and hopefully we can sit together....

Are BIL & SIL the same CC level as you? Are they paid in full? Those could be reasons why you can't book for them.

Booking windows open for each room based on that specific room's highest CC level. Being linked won't open a lower level room's early.

Anyone have an answer to the original question? We are both Silver so our window to open is the same time.

Book your reservations on the same night and as close to the same time as possible. THen after boarding, go to the location listed for "Palo Ressies" on the Welcome aboard Navigator. The Palo manager will make the necessary changes to seat you together.

We had similar deal recently. DW and I were Silver CC, while BIL and SIL were on first cruise. DW talked with DCL ahead of time when booking our table (at Silver CC booking time), and they said to go ahead and book for the two of us while basically promising us it would not be a problem to switch from two to four. When it was their time to book, Palo was full, but again, DCL told us not to worry. When we boarded, DW and SIL high-tailed it to the Palo reservation desk and easily confirmed a four-top.

Sadly, their 15-month old DD got sick on our Palo day and they could not join us, but they were invited to come back another night with the promise of getting a table (even if otherwise fully booked).

Palo was, by far, our best meal of the cruise, so confirm whatever you can as soon as you can and then work out the details later!
