Just wondering If u get a special credit or reward for using a Disney Chase Visa when booking a cruise?

If you pay for the entire cruise with your Disney Visa card (deposit and all payments), then you can get a $50 OBC. Usually you have to call them after you Pay in Full to get the OBC applied.

This assumes you are not getting any other sort of special from DCL. It does not apply if you are on a restricted fare, FL resident rate, military rate, Kids Sail free, or any other Disney discount.

You'll get 1% back in Disney dollars unless you have the upgraded card then it is a bit more. However, I've realized that I can get a 5% discount by buying Disney Gift Cards at Target with my Red Card so I don't use the Disney Card as much anymore.

who do you call to get the OBC? We paid for ours with our disney visa for the postponed interest.

No need to call anyone. If you booked with a Disney Visa and paid for your cruise with the Disney visa ( provided you received no other Disney discounts) you will receive the $50 OBC automatically. Usually when you first walk into you room there will be a notice on the desk that informs you of the credit.

Not true in all cases. I booked an IGT room for our cruise next week AND got the OBC. I have confirmed this multiple times with DCL.

This is true only if someone at DCL remembers to put the "DCC" code on the reservation. I always call to confirm that it is on there.

No. One deal from anything that has the Disney name attached unless the offer specifically says it can be combined.

WOW! The OBC from Disney, right? (because you can always get the OBC from a TA). This is really rare as normally the IGT can't be combined with anything else. I'm impressed.

I called my Disney visa card and they stated that my OBC will b given to me when I board the ship! Only get 50$, but every little but helps.
