So excited! DD, DH and myself are all entered for the day. Good luck everyone! DH will turn 50 this year, so this would not only be an amazing lucky gift to win, but a pretty awesome birthday present too!!

Most companies have a specific time period where you are not eligible to win another prize after winning one. Most are 30, 60 or 90 days. I've never known of one to be an entire year. I'd say yes.

Not a real surprise. They aired commercials for it during Dick Clark's NYE show last night and have been tweeting about it from the WDW accounts today. Millions of people saw those and I would bet that today will be the busiest day of the contest.

Just emailed Mom and Pop so they can enter too. We are all going to WDW together in April, we can't wait! Good luck all!

If chosen, we'd definitely go to Disney World, we just love it there!!

I'm interested in the "Wild Fun and Amazement" and "Big Thrills" packages for Disneyland, so I'm going to enter each day and pick one for my entry and the other for DH's.

I am a little disappointed there's no texting entry this year, since we'll be in WDW at the end of the month and it would make it a lot easier to enter while we're there!

Am I remembering correctly that they announced winners weekly (not daily) last year and that there was a delay announcing winners?

I did my first entry, only because every time I tried to do it before, I got an error, then when I refreshed it it said that I had to come back because of a high volume that they were experiencing

You don't have to "pick" anything..yet. You can decide officially which type of trip you want if/when you win. "Choosing" now for your entry doesn't lock you in to anything.

Entered the contest also. My luck has always be so stinky. Maybe 2013 is my lucky year to win a trip. Suppose my chances is as good as any one else.

Since the wife went to bed early, I was left watching Dick Clark last night and saw the original announcement. I went to the website and filled out the form but was told I had to wait til midnight to submit it. So that's how I celebrated the New Year - By clicking the submit button literally at the stroke of midnight.

That's gotta count for something, right? RIGHT?

Yes, I think they did not begin contacting winners until they were into the second week and then they would contact them twice a week.

Thanks! I thought there was something else delayed with announcing winners but that's probably what I was thinking with there being a daily winner but no winners getting announced until the second week.

My DH and I both submitted entries today and I'm paranoid that if we win and get notified by email that my DH will just delete an email that comes in not realizing what it is...hopefully winners will be notified by FedEx again this year! Haha - well, first I should hope that I'm a winner right!! You never know....
