Here's the birthday girl

And some Christmas pictures I'm just now getting around to putting on the computer:

With the giraffe she got for Christmas 2 years ago. She's very pleased that she's now taller than it is.

The only thing Angel asked for Christmas or her birthday was a roll of penguin duct tape.

We did think of a few surprises for her, many of which were related to her MAW.

The only MAW shirts we've seen worn at clinic have been the white ones, so we ordered her a blue one, as well as a silver MAW pin. She loves to read, and was thrilled with the Passporter & Hidden Mickey books. (Someone posted on the Cruise board that the Hidden Mickey book had a great pre-sale offer

)The fabric Sharpies are for having the characters sign a shirt. I was happy to find the lanyard, autograph book, and photo album on sale at disneystore.com. She also got the antenna topper Cruise Mickey, but I forgot to include it in the photo. (She collects Disney antenna toppers, and was disappointed when we had to get a more reliable vehicle this year so we could drive her to clinic, and it didn't have an antenna. I had seen someone post on the DIS several years ago that they put them on dowels & display them in a vase, so that's what we do now.

)

If we had known that her camera would decide to stop working on Christmas

, we would have bought her a new one. We did look around a little this week for one, but they were very picked over, so we'll keep looking for a good deal.

Hi Angel and Mom! I havent had a chance to read all of the post yet, but I did read your story and I am very sorry that you have had to make such a life changing adjustment. I imagine thats very hard for a girl your age and I am glad to hear you are doing well. I just wanted to say that your story touched my heart and because of you I just now finished signing up to be on the registry for a Bone Marrow donor. I hope to start the new year off helping others and because of your story now I know a good way to start. Good luck on your Cruise

Someday I hope to go on one as well.
