DH and I Nov 11-15.
4 nights at SOG- $131/night so just over $520 Military PH tickets assuming they offer again ~$310 Auto Train-$1000 Meals ~$550 So, around $2400 We're also doing a couple of nights in Fort Lauderdale and a 7 night cruise prior to WDW. That will cost twice as much as the 4 days in WDW. ![]() In Oct 2011, we did 5 nights at SOG and got 1/2 price room so the room only ran us about $315. Keeping my eyes open for fall specials again this year. |

The four of us (2 kids 7 & 4) went for our first trip in late November. The breakdown was:
7 nights at POR with a water view, free dining and 7 day base park tickets - $2750 Flight from Buffalo via JetBlue - $900 Extras including tips which add up the restaurants, stroller rentals, souvenirs, a night at a hotel in buffalo, insurance and misc. - 1200 Total cost $4850 and that took some planning with making the free dining option match up with cheaper flights. We can't wait to do it again next year if all the stars align and we can keep it under $5000. Last edited by frevic; 12-31-2012 at 01:49 AM. Reason: Mistake |

. I have the Disney Visa and called on the 27th. Saved $753. But, I did forget to add I saved $500 on flights since I used rewards points. So my actual cost for flights was $1180. Total trip cost is $9746.

![]() It's gonna be a great trip! ----------- ETA: I haven't actually calculated mine in awhile, with most recent changes. Current incarnation: 10 nights/11 days Wilderness Lodge Club Level $3605.60 (including 40% military discount) RT flights from Boston to MCO (2A,2C) $1181.40 incl. insurance Tickets- we have AP's purchased at military discount and used them for 11 days in July...monies worth already received, this trip is a bonus!!! So, $0 for this one. Food/Spending Money $1750 (will uses TIW for our TS meals) Total: $6537.00 *sigh*. Tried to go cheaper but now my family is addicted to club level...

In 2011 we went Christmas week (PEAK WEEK) for 10 days, POR, water view, 2 adults, 3 kids, 8 day hopper - FREE DINING.
Easter 2013 (PEAK WEEK) we are going for the same trip except paying for dining, but with the "new promotion". We are paying a little over $2000 more for a lesser room (garden view). Still looking forward to our trip but we will be spending a lot less on extra's in the parks. We usually do a tour, special event (MVMCP, pirates league or BBB) and lots of extra's. This year we are cutting out the "extra's". Disney will get our $$$ but will be in the package not "extra's". |

I am confused - how did you get free dining in 2012 Easter week. No offeres were ever opened up in 2012. It was the first Easter week in a long time that no deals were offered.
