Currently booked & past Med cruisers...
We are considering a 7-nt Med cruise in August. I like that they go from Sat to Sat but would really like to be able to fly home the same day that we disembark since I have to be back to work on Monday. I think I read somewhere on the Dis that DCL makes it possible that passengers can get to BCN in time for early flights since the ship arrives at the port of Barcelona the night before and is cleared by customs before anyone even wakes up.
I can get a 10:45am non-stop into Philly that would work out perfectly. ![]() Do any currently-booked Med cruisers have such an early flight? TIA!!

I would suggest that you call DCL and verify that the ship gets in the night before on your sailing date.
We have done it twice when we have been able to catch a 10:30 and an 11:00 flight. On both occasions, DCL had special disembarkation instructions for those with flights before 10:00. I went to GS when we had the 10:30 and was told to not worry; the regular procedures would be fine for me (and they were). The "early" arrangements were to skip breakfast, meet in Rockin Bar D for pastries and juice, and be first off the ship to the awaiting buses. Last edited by kcashner; 12-30-2012 at 10:25 PM. |

Wow, before 10:00? That's early! I guess 10:45 would be no big deal but I will call just to make sure.
Thank you so much. As always, you're a wealth of knowledge to everyone here. Have a happy, healthy New Year!!
