Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. I had a really great interview on Thursday morning. And it's the holidays, so everyone is moving at a snails pace right now and people are off. I told my hubby that if I don't have a job by the second week of January, there is a serious problem. lol

stmize, congrats on the grand villa!!! I would LOVE to stay in a villa one day, but I don't think it's in the cards.

Welcome! The F&W Festival will run through November 9th (based upon prior years' dates). And the only thing I can think of from Tampa would be a rental car or maybe a car service. You might be able to find a really good deal googling for coupons or using the DIS budget boards.

Our family has already started a list of where we want to eat as well. We'll really narrow it down soon (even though I can't make the reservations until early May ).

And this is the reason we chose the AutoTrain. I haven't looked at airfare lately, but three months ago it was going to save us over $800....I can only imagine how that's changed now.

Don't be anxious. lol Look at my post above. My advice: book your room (or package) and just wait. It's all we can do at this point. Oh....and plan!!!!

As of today I have 329 days til okw 1 night in a grand villa pre cruise on the dream. 330 days til disney dream for 3 nights. And 333 days til post cruise stay at okw grand villa for 4 nights. With my brothers, mom, niece, nephew, sil and my dh, dd and ds and I can't wait.

Got some good news myself yesterday. My 2nd CT after 6 chemo sessions came back with no visible signs of cancer. I'll be doing three more treatments and then I get a break. My cancer is not curable, but remission is possible, so that's the goal. Hoping these next three sessions get me a good, long remission! Of course now I'm looking at the site for March deals to help celebrate both my birthday and my break in treatment.

November is still on. Looks like we're going Nov 13-19. My parents are going as well. My sister and her family and my brother and his family are questionable right now. Regardless, it'll be an awesome trip, I'm sure. Can't wait to see new Fantasyland! We've settled on Wilderness Lodge as well. So my dates are set!

Figmentchick - what do you think about trying to plan a couple of DisMeets!!! For overlapping dates. I know it looks like WE won't get to, but maybe others will. And, one day, we will be there for the same dates.

I am super busy planning out June trip, and getting our shirts made, making our plans and such. Just found out we will be missing SWW, but we knew that was going to happen. DS graduates on the 11th so we can't leave till after that. But next year, we should be able to make SWW.

We are booked for POP, but I am checking rates for the Swan/Dolphin often. I would LOVE to get employee rates there for our dates. Would be nice to walk to Epcot & HS.

Thank you so much for the encouragement!!! And, yes, I am totally up for everyone planning meets. We tried one for October 2011, but it was only my family and one other DISer. lol Not even someone who is one of my best friends now (I met her on the DIS....we've yet to meet in person) showed up! Although....she had a good excuse, her daughter was sick.

So....let the planning begin!!!

My daughter and I downloaded the new passporter on our Nooks today and we were trying to plan our restaurants. (we're keeping our fingers crossed for free dining!) We've got most of them, but we're short one. We just can't figure where we want to go. Of course, the park times aren't out yet (and subject to changes anyway) so that deters from a lot of the planning. Believe it or not, on the past two trips when we've had free dining, we've "missed" one table service meal.

So this might just be the right thread to ask this in... 5 more months (or so) until we can book ADR's for thanksgiving. Where is the best place to have thanksgiving dinner? We won't be in the parks that day so it has to be a resort.

I've never been there for Thanksgiving, so I don't know what places offer "special" meals, but off the top of my head, my choices would be....
