What kind of bag for in the parks?

True! But here's the thing - I don't have to replace them because they hold up so well. Before these, I would always wear out purses and bags. With three boys (now ages 5, 12 and 13) something is always spilled, always getting wet, always going through a lot of wear and tear. These don't tear or scuff, the "feet" on the bottom of the bags keep the bottom from getting dirty or frayed, they wipe clean in a second and they don't get soaked easily. As a result, I can take these bags anywhere and they still look like new. I took the Minnie daypack on a 4x4 in Skagway, canoe in Ketchikan and dog sled in Juneau and didn't worry about it one bit. As much as I love my far less expensive plaid madras mickey bag, it started to look sad after a year or so of use!

The only thing I'd say is that if you either aren't doing a ton of Disney stuff or wouldn't carry a Disney-themed bag everywhere, the other colors or patterns would be a better investment. I like the Minnie one because it's a more subtle Disney pattern, which increases the use and value for me.

There are two types of crossbodies N/S and E/W depending on whether it is longer or wider. I prefer N/S as the E/W always get in my way.

I use a small crossbody and put a backpack on the back of the stroller, where it sits all day. We take out the camera when leaving it for an attraction.

We've used an Overland Donner several times. Love the organization, but crossbody bags are uncomfortable to me. This last trip I bought a drawstring backpack and it was perfect. The straps were a little long, but I just knotted each side at the bottom to shorten it up a bit and it worked great.
