Monsieur Paul vs. BlueZoo

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on their preference for a group of 3 girls for the marathon weekend? We've doing V&A and will do Marrakesh for lunch or dinner (we can always decide that last minute) but usually we do BlueZoo because its great and close to the Swan, were we usually stay. We may even do an earlier Marrakesh lunch and then a later BlueZoo dinner and do Monsieur Paul's if there is really good reviews on it.

We all are VERY adventurous and have pretty decent palettes, so we're not scared of anything unusual and welcome it. We'd all loved Bistro, and I was wondering if anyone having experienced Monsieur Paul and BlueZoo had some thoughts? We are doing a split stay at Swan/AKL (unless more availablity at the Swan opens up). We've all been to WDW many times but I was most recently there in late Sept. before the new Bistro opened. I was just hoping for some comparisions and any thoughts.

Does the new place have any interesting cocktails? How is wine list, etc.?

Went to Blue Zoo in September. Gotta say it was really nice, hip, contemporary, upscale. Had a upscale bar feel - lots of energy and a creative menu.

Was at Bistro (before it changed). It was also great - buy completely different feel. More formal, subdued, quiet.

So basically comes down to the atmosphere you want.

I believe the menu at Monsieur Paul is basically the same as it was at Bistro. We weren't terribly impressed with Bistro, and did prefer BlueZoo. At Bistro they were unable to make the martini my wife asked for, brought out something different than she eventually ordered, and when they brought out the correct drink, it was barely half full. If they can't handle basic martinis, I would have little hope for anything special. The wine selection should be good, but for cocktails I would have to say BlueZoo hands down as they are much hipper and trendier location.

Thanks for the info guys. We all adore BlueZoo, but it doesn't sound like the new Bisto has that much going for it, so we'll just stick with our usual plan (BlueZoo, V&A, Il Muriano/Kimono's and a night of snacking around Ecpot). Many thanks!
