SPH no longer a deal on DCL?
I've noticed over the past few months when pricing cruises on the classic ships that the SPH rooms (cat 10A) are no longer a bargain. They price up over the 9B-9D rooms, but slightly under the 9A rooms (regular window rooms on Decks 5-7).
With "true" inside cabins still in Cat 10A, why would anyone pay such an upcharge for it and take the inside cabin? Is the upper deck for an inside cabin worth that much?
If DCL is going to start charging more for these rooms because they have a window, why not just create a 9E category and call it Obstructed View?
At least with it priced this way, you can get in those rooms fairly easy (New Years on both the Magic and the Wonder next year still has all 6 available). As long as you get the 5X20 or 5X22 room, you really don't have that much of an obstruction.
