Shipping a souvenir gift to family from DW store or resort?

Wasn't sure the best board to ask this but I thought I'd try here first. Also checked the sticky and did a search, but still not coming up with it and sorry if I missed it.

Anyway, the question is that we will be buying souvenirs, gifts, etc at the parks and resorts and wondering about the delivery back the resort, or is it to our room? option...wondering if it's still available and how you do it. Also, is there a way to have a Disney merchandise gift shipped directly to...wherever (in the U.S.)..... either from the shop it's purchased at, or from the resort after it's delivered?

While we are enjoying our ten day stay at the Beach Club we will be missing our granddaughter's birthday and thought, since she is such a big Disney fan, that it might be fun to surprise her with a gift sent from Disney World.

Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
