I have a dedicated stroller bag that I keep changes of clothes and other things in, but I need a bag to carry in line with me. One to keep valuables in that isn't too big or bulky and is easy to carry with two small kids.

Can anyone recommend a cheap but nice small-ish cross body bag that'll fit a Compact System Camera? My husband got me an Olympus Pen E PM1 for Christmas and while it's exactly what I wanted, I think it's too big for the bag I already have. I don't want to carry around an extra camera bag either.

I carry a Harvey's Seatbelt Minnie daypack. I have four of these bags - one backpack, two non-Disney purses and a non-Disney coin purse - they are indestructible! For our extra clothes bag, we use our DCL Castaway Club backpack.

I don't carry this particular fabric, but I love leSportSac. It has lots of pockets and is a good size, but the most important thing is that the strap is soft and doesn't cut into my neck. I picked up two Baggalinis at Marshall's and while I like the bag, the straps were stiff and scratchy. I couldn't use it all day for a week. So I went back to LeSportSac.
This one is the style I use. Lots of pockets/space. These are Disney licensed: http://www.lesportsac.com/store/iasw/iasw_2369.html |

I have carried this bag my last two trips. You can use it as a crossbody and it has an adjustable strap. I can fit do much in here. I carry my camera (small digital point and shoot), phone, flip, park tix, money, sunscreen, notebook w/touring info, park maps, pen, phone charger, small snack for my son, and my poncho. There is still room for plenty more even though it doesn't look like it. It is so durable and very well made. Mine still looks brand new.

I like to carry a lot, and have little people that I have to carry for as well...so we always do a backpack. I like to have outside access to camelback water bottles, and also carry everything else inside. We typically go during Dec-Jan, so room for coats/ponchos is necessary.

Kind of in between. Not too heavy, in my opinion, but sturdier than the madras plaid Mickey backpack I used to carry. I used the Minnie daypack on the Wonder to Alaska last summer, and then took it to WDW in October when the temps were in the high 80s. I didn't think it was too heavy for those warmer temps at all.

I buy my LeSportSacs at Marshall's or TJMaxx. There is a fake being sold there but it is quite inferior with hard straps. My bag isn't Disney themed, but I also only paid $39 for it. The bags that are that same shape, but not Disney themed are $79 on their website.
I don't have any more photos of the Disney ones. They are super cute, though. EDIT: I just went to their site and they have 40% off several fabrics right now. That's a big sale for them. The bag from the above photo is the "Everyday Deluxe". If you want to see the interior, I believe you can do so at ebags. |
