I somehow missed commenting on the Pirate Party update.
So the buffet is in Topsiders now? It used to be along the pooldeck and was a lot of fun - I see more "food" now though - it used to be LOADS of cakes and desserts with a few savoury items thrown in as well.

Jen, you are my hero! Doing the party = staying up late and then being up so early in the morning again. Yip, I will drag myself outside on the veranda in the early morning, but up on deck NO way.
Love all the photos, but I say that every time - can't help it, it's the way I feel.

Yes they moved the buffet. I think over the summer they did it. Maybe when they started NYC sailings?
I was a bit disappointed with it. I had seen so many great dessert pictures and reall that selection wasn't all that great. And something about a buffet out by the pool is just a bit more exciting.
I must've had issues sleeping that night. I was up really early.

I just love walking around an empty ship. It is so peaceful. AHHHH! I wish I was doing it right now!
I normally sleep with a fan, and I sometimes bring a small one along, but I found it's not loud enough to make a difference for my white noise.

I walked down near the shops and tried to get some more shots of the window displays. Some came out pretty decent, some not so good.















I really think the displays are so cute.

Don't you just love an empty ship? It's so awesome when you have the whole place to yourself.
Since we don't seem to be the early risers for us going back to back does the trick. Since they let you back on before anyone else you have the ship to yourself too. You really need to try going back to back for yourself one day, Jen!

Shew! Caught up over here! Believe it or not, I'll start reading for a few minutes and then get distracted for oooh… a day or two? Work and kids do NOT help me catch up on my DIS!!!

Love all the pictures and the Pirate party looks like fun! But UGH with the iPads!! Seriously, we have one and I just would NEVER drag that thing around all day at a park or on a boat. I think it's more of a "oh look at me!" type thing, because I don't think the quality is any better than the video setting on my p&s camera.

I do that too. opne up one I am far behind on, read a bit, come back later, etc. Some take me 3 days to catch up on.

I haven't found the quality that great on them either, but I guess for some, they don't have a camera? I know that many people now exclusively use their phones as a camera. Some pics look OK, but many do not have good quality. After using a DSLR, it's even hard for me to use point and shoots. I couldn't step down to only an ipad or phone as my only camera. LOL
