Will this cruise be the same?

We did the Western on the Fantasy last May (2012). We've just booked another Western on the Fantasy for May 2014. Will shows most likely be the same as our last cruise? Or does this change every year or so?

Most likely the shows will be the same. The logistics and expense of staging those production shows means they don't get changed all that often.

It just gives you a chance to do other things besides rushing to a show! We've done the same ship twice in 2 years, both 7 nights, and the 2nd time was much more relaxed, we only went to the 2 shows we REALLY wanted to see again. Other times, we could hit things like Disney Trivia, which was going on during the show.

I agree we went on an Eastern this year but had prior done a Western but since we have been on DCL a couple times this was the best we had already seen one of the shows and had no interest in the performers so we really relaxed also did things we never did before like Disney trivia and the family game show etc. You will always find new things to do and if you are going to the same ports do different excursions

We did a platinum experience with the house manager in the theater. He told us that given the cost of the shows, they need to run for 7 years to be cost effective. Of course, with 4 ships now, there is the possibility of moving a show from one ship to another (this has not been done to date.)
