Dream 9A 6186 Accessible Room

Here are some pictures that we took of Cabin 6186. It is a 9A corner room that is Aft. We booked a Cat 10 GTY and were upgraded to this room. We lost the split bathroom but it was well worth it. The room is huge. We loved it. As an able bodied person, I don't feel that I am qualified to address how accessible the room was but it did have some features that I thought were a nice addition. Right before the muster drill they called to ask if we needed any assistance.

There was a call button about 12 inches from the floor.

inside the closet

I have a few pictures if you want to see something else let me know and I will see if I have any better pictures.

OP...would you mind if I merged this thread with the existing 9A cabin thread....I am trying to keep all the 9A cabin pics in one thread for easy reference.....

Let me know.

Thanks,

MJ

Question concerning stateroom 6186 on Dream

Hey. We're staying in this room in March 2012. Thanks for posting the photos of this room. Question...is there a pull-down bunk above the couch? We're thinking of getting a little friend to go with us. Thanks again!

Window Pics

Great pics. Today this stateroom opened up and I grabbed it. Previously I had two staterooms (2 persons each), but it's much cheaper to have this one instead. Also, I appreciate the bathroom pics. I know what to expect for my wheelchair-bound son.

PS. To find this thread all I did was type in the ship (fantasy) and stateroom number in the search engine, and voila. I'm guessing it will look the same.
