Turning 3 the day after cruise ends
If we did a cruise that ended the day before my daughter's third birthday, would she be allowed to go in the Kids Club instead of the nursery. Let's assume she'd be 100% potty trained; I'm just wondering about the age.
What about if there was an excursion that was for ages 3+? Do they ever make exceptions? Probably would be on Magic, but might be on a different ship, if that matters. |

As for excursions through Disney, I don't know of any exceptions.
As for the kids club age limit, I've heard and seen exceptions.

The potty training issue is the main thing. If that is achieved then the age for nursery to club is not a problem. If you feel like your child is mature enough then you can talk to the counselors onboard. You wont be able to pre register though for the club online, so you can do it when you get to the ship. Keep in mind though every three or almost three year old is different. We had luck dropping our three year old off with cruise friends of a similar age but drop off be herself did not go as well. Also take time during the open house to show your child where the restrooms are and maybe get them comfortable with the space.

Excursions will be an issue if they say 3+ only. They do not make exceptions. You may be able to book it through an independent operator though.

Absolutely no exceptions EVER on excursions. However, many excursions that have age limits thru DCL have different limits if booked privately.
Oceaneer's Club will be no problem if the child is toilet trained. |

Are you flying? you may have to pay for that child on the way back and security may flag because it will be a less than 21 day purchase... my bad experience. HTH- Mary
