today is the day we can do on line check in ,i have never done it before and i'm a little nervous about getting a bad view,[ we love to sit out on the balcony], where do you make a request for a view like lake view at wlv? i only saw request for a cot or first floor or near elevator? would appreciate any info?

Once your reservations have been made, if you need or want to request a specific room location you will need to do so by phoning the reservation line. But first make sure that what you are requesting isn't a paid room upgrade. For some resorts certain room locations ARE a paid room category.

To be honest, there isn't much of a lake view at VWL. It's really a woods view. But I do typically request to be on the lake side of the building to minimize noise from the bus stop. Phone in your request and then you can do online check in.
