Question about the pasta at Tutto Italia?
This restaurant has always looked appealing to me. If you have dined there, can you tell me how the fresh pasta is? I had the most delicious pasta the last time we were in NYC, the best way I can describe it is almost like cookie dough. I'd love to hear about your experiences there!

We ate there a few months ago, after the name change. I had the lasagna and it was one of the best I've had. The pasta part was melt in your mouth fresh. We were impressed with this place and will be back there in a few weeks for lunch. We live in NJ and have plenty of good italian places around. Tutu Italia was very good.

Thank you.
I just made an ADR for Tutto! Looking forward to trying it. We haven't eaten in Italy at WS yet. We have Via Napoli too.

Definitely agree about the lasagna. My mom had a pasta dish too and said it was great. It is always one of our must dos.

Three of us just had the lasagna two weeks ago and we still can't keep talking about how good it was - the best any of us have ever had. We had wonderful service and the restaurant was beautiful inside.

I just cannot wait to try both places. We are 45 days out and I am so excited! Tutto will be an adult only evening. I plan on taking my son to Kid's Night Out and meeting a friend for dinner.

Here's another one that will agree the lasagna is excellent. Also the decor is awesome, the atmosphere is great, and the service is top notch. I personally enjoy Tutto over Via Napoli (which I like a lot) because of the dining atmosphere as a whole.

We were HUGE fans of the original Alfredo's at Epcot. It was my family's favorite restaurant of all time, anywhere. We mourned when Alfredo's departed the premises. This past trip we tried Tutto Italia for the the first time and we loved it! We still don't think it's quite up to the original Alfredo's, but it was really good. I note with interest the positive remarks about the fetuccini and the lasagna at TI as those were also stand-outs at Alfredo's.

It was soooo good. It was my favorite dish at WDW. However, I also like Tutto Italia and love Via Napoli. Of the two, I prefer Via Napoli though (love their seafood pasta dish).

Our Ratings of Tutto Italia: (8/20/2012)
. . . food price value: C . . . food quality: C . . . food quantity per serving: B . . . food prep speed: B . . . food selection: C . . . seating quantity: B . . . seating comfort: B . . . eatery atmosphere: C . . . eatery convenience: B . . . staff friendliness: B . . . staff attentiveness: D . . . character interaction: n/a NOTE: Tutto is the eatery within Italy at Epcot which replaced Alfredo's. For an Italian restaurant, it is strange you cannot find Fettuccine Alfredo. (OK, Alfredo is more of an American dish, but one should have it as an option.) We tried the braised fennel for lunch, and it was only a chunk of fennel with cheese. We also, unfortunately, tried the pasta e fagioli. Om the bright side: the pork shank was tender, tasty and plentiful. Our group also sampled the Risotto and sampled the Lasagna and we were pleased with the taste and quantity. The Patina Group owner is trying to keep things authentically Italian, but have only reached that goal in the slow and inattentive service category. One should also note that the eatery is noisy and often too loud to carry on a conversation. |
