Please help me decide!!
Looking at excursions in Cozumel, I can't decide between the Tulum Ruins and the Secret River. They both sound like amazing experiences. Anyone have more info on either of these that might help sway me one way or the other?? TIA!!

Tulum is AMAZING! It takes a ferry ride and bus to get to there, so I would only do it through Disney.

Secret River all the way. Best excursion I have ever done in the Caribbean. Especially if you are going in the spring/summer since Tulum gets super hot with no shade. Another great thing about Secret River is it doesnt matter if it rains, since you are underground.
Everyone that has done the Secret River has loved it, and it is so beautiful and unique. Not many places you get to explore underground in a river with only the light you brought in. It is not like going to caverns in the states where they make nice walkways and put in lights and such. It is all natural. The place is very professional and everything went very smooth. |

We did the Tulum tour a few years ago. We had a great time. There is a small beach that you can use during the free time. There are no bathrooms or changing areas there. It was beautiful. Just wear your suit under your clothes and bring a towel.

I haven't been to Tulum, but I did do the ruins in Costa Maya (Chacchoben) and they were very neat to see. That being said, I have done the Secret River 3 times w/i a year's time; two of those times last month within 2 weeks of one another. Like the previous poster said, this is an AMAZING excursion! I would book it again any day of the week over seeing the ruins, but that's just me.
It really is unbelievable and so hard to explain just how amazing it is to do it justice, but it is. ![]() So there's my 2 cents. HTHs!
