Hello,
I am from Canada and I would really like to setup my annual dues on a monthly plan for next year instead of needing to pay them all up front in January. I know in Canada it can't come out of a canadian bank account. I do currently have a US dollar bank account through my bank. Does anyone know if it can be from a US $ account or does it have to be a US bank account?

It must be a US Based financial institution.

Ok awesome that is very helpful thank you. I currently bank with TD so I am going to check and see if they offer one cause I think they might.

TD does have a US based bank. Not sure if they offer the same level of integration as RBC does.

TD does have the possibility of having a US-based bank account. But when I researched it, I dismissed it because it was much more complicated to move my money into it (they don't have linked online banking), I couldn't find any reliable information that would guarantee that I could easily link it to my Canadian Paypal account, and I think it required actually going to the US to open the account (but I'm not sure about that, so do look into it). They also have a "Borderless" account, but I don't know anything about it.

I bank with BMO, and I originally thought having to maintain accounts at two different banks would be a hassle; it's not.

BMO now owns Harris in the States so maybe they could do it easy now.

BMO Harris would have been my first choice, and while they do have the possibility of opening the account from within Canada, they have no system to move money back and forth

I'm a TD employee (Insurance side) so I try to keep what I can with them

I emailed my banker so I am waiting to hear back to see how it works for sure. I am hoping they can link it to my other accounts cause that would be convenient. If not we will see.
