I really, really like Kobe. The closest location to Disney is on Palm Parkway, but there are several locations around Orlando and one or two locations on I-drive. Awesome hibachi!

I cast another vote for Sweet Tomatoes. I always go to the Crossroads location, as in the pp's photograph, but there is a newer one on Rolling Oaks Blvd.., near FL 429 and U.S. 192. If you are staying near the Maingate West area, it's worth checking out.

That is really good to know! We're staying in nearby Rolling Hills subdivision and I love Sweet Tomatoes. Make sure to join their Club Veg to get coupons emailed to you. You don't even need to print it out, just show the cashier the coupon on your smart phone.

I dont have any particular favorites, but the Dr Phillips area and Pointe Orlando areas offer a variety of finer dining restaurants. Although many are chains, they are a little more upscale

Mmm...
Las Palmas. Across from Gatorland. We never had South American food before and now when we go to Diz we eat here almost every night. The papa rellennas and skirt steak are to die for. Affordable and so many great tastes at once.
Charley's Steakhouse. Best Steak. Period. Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a blast. Sol Azteca on OBT is the only good Mexican restaurant n central Florida. |
