Where are offsite buses parked at TTC?

I'm heading down on Tuesday to surprise my cousin & her daughter who are there for their school's band trip. They are staying offsite, so I'm assuming their bus will be parked somewhere at the TTC (if this is incorrect someone please correct me!). I get in late on Tuesday & plan to head straight to Poly to catch Holiday Wishes from the beach, and then want to walk over to the TTC, where they will be meeting their bus at 10pm. I plan to surprise them there.

I'm not very familiar with the TTC, I mostly use it to transfer monorails or to take the ferry from MK so I can walk over to Poly. I can't recall ever seeing where the buses are - can someone point me in the right direction - I'll be on the walking path from Poly.

I *think* they are off to the right hand side of the TTC monorail station, as you face it from the ticket booths. If so, you'll come out from the Poly-TTC path, and continue walking past the monorail stations. There should be decent signage, but just ask a CM if you are confused. The one tricky part---the bus stalls just have numbers, and most are not labeled with the resorts they serve, IIRC. But, again, just ask around.

You should check with their hotel, if possible.

Some hotels only drop off at Epcot, and leave it to their guests to find their way to the other parks via Disney Transport.

If they do drop off at TTC, the hotel should be able to give you a space number. It's a big lot.

If you can't contact the hotel, ask at the bus information booth at TTC. You'll need to get the name of the hotel as accurate as possible -- just "Best Western" won't help.

Are they coming from the MK? Each park has its own of site bus parking. But anyway here it is.

Are they performing that night? I just wonder because if they're performing is it possible the busses would drop them off/pick them up "backstage"? They wouldn't want them bringing all their instruments and uniforms on the monorail and/or ferry, would they?

I'm going to assume since this is a band trip they are contracting out their own buses and not taking the hotel shuttle since even the smallest bands would be at least one 55 passenger bus, some 4 or 5 which would overwhelm any shuttle system so asking for their hotel name probably isn't going to help.

You can maybe ask at the TTC commercial gate for their group name but in the two trips I have been on I don't remember them asking for our name.

I would try to find out what bus company they are using, look up their website and find out what their buses look like.

Good luck, its a big lot and can have lots of buses moving around at that time.

Unless they are leaving right after they perform, they would still pick them up at the TTC for the MK.

I have done it twice with my sons and the band grouped up near Splash and then was escorted back stage where they met their bus with their stuff. Did the pre 3:00 PM parade went back changed and then the next time they saw the bus was at the TTC.

If they performed later in the night and they went back into the park for any amount of time they would still leave through the front gate since they would have to be again escorted back stage. Also during this time the bus driver would be stuck in the bus and unless they could lock him in they would have to post someone to make sure they didn't walk around.

Disney is very anal when it comes to guests being backstage.
