We've stayed once at YC, once at BWI and many times at BC and BCV.

The nice thing about the YC was that it is really close to the boat dock and a short walk to Boardwalk. The negative would be the long walk to the Marketplace in the BC.

The BWI has a beautiful view of the BC/YC. It is nice to have the restaurants right there. The boat dock is very convenient. And it has the night time entertainment. But the layout of the resort is weird, with long walks to rooms.

The only negative of the BC is the long walk to the boat dock. Other than that, the closeness to Epcot and the Marketplace make it number one for us.

we have stayed at them all more than once, and have settled on the boardwalk as our favorite. the atmosphere is the best, love the entertainment on the boardwalk and access to dhs by footpath. It is the only one that kids and adults all really like.

I love the epcot resorts! You really can't go wrong with any of them. I've always stayed at the BC, but YC and BWI are just as good. I am partial to the BC because of the marketplace and the pool.

EPCOT is our favorite area. We loved both the BW and BC. As others said for different reasons. Some of our kids are teenagers now and they love the Boardwalk area. There are activities at night and they love being close. We had a balcony at the BW and would love to sit out there and watch the boardwalk. Yet the BC has a great pool and Beaches and Cream right there. It is a hard choice but will be happy with either.

It's hard to beat the sand bottom pool at the BC/YC. As a previous poster noted the clown head at the BW pool is just plain creepy.

Yacht Club feels a little more quiet and grown up. Perhaps because all of the Cape May character breakfast madness is on the other side. So if you're only going with adults, you may want to consider YC. You still have access to Stormalong Bay, and all of the other amenities shared by the resorts.

Well, I've stayed at all of the Epcot resorts, and generally spend a couple trips at BC/BCV and a couple BWI/BWV each year.

I prefer BC/BCV when the weather is warmer, because it's so close to Epcot (my favorite park). When I stay there, I typically walk to the Epcot boat dock instead of walking to YC to catch the boat to DHS - the distance feels about the same and I can usually get a seat getting on the boat at Epcot. The small balcony situation doesn't generally come into play because it's too hot to enjoy a balcony when I stay there anyway.

To be honest, I prefer YC to BC/BCV, but since I only book if I can get a discount, the discounts seem to be a little less frequent at YC. You don't have the small balcony situation to deal with, the boat dock is right off the lobby, and you can still use SAB.

When the weather is cooler and I'm more inclined to walk to both parks, the BWI/BWV location works out better. It also feels like there is more to do at the resort itself, and more dining options right at my resort, when I stay there. I also enjoy the balcony on the room because I stay there when the weather is cooler.

I agree that if you drive, the parking at BC is much closer. But if you are flying and using ME, the parking situation won't be a factor in your decision. I don't have a preference one way or the other as far as pools, as I'm not a big fan of public pools in general.

I don't think you can make a wrong choice between them - just look at the amenities and see which is better for your family.
