How long does it take from the time you have to turn off your nook to the time you can turn it on when you fly just wondering

It's not long at all. I think it is when they hit cruising altitude. Seems like 10-15 minutes

The flight attendants will make an announcement when you can use approved electronics. The time really depends because you have to turn off everything when they close the cabin doors and cant turn it back on until you are at I think 10,000 feet. That could be 5 minutes if you take off right away or an hour if you have to wait on the runway.
