We will be making our first visit to WDW as DVC members in June. We have booked a studio in AKL. Can anyone tell me about my laundry options there?

If I remember correctly, there are 2 laundry rooms available in Jambo house. I used the one right off the main lobby (upper level) and the hanging bridge. It was was not close to my room but there were two washers and 4 dryers and a tv to pass the time. I also ran into another DVCer and we talked resort comparisons. It ended up being a nice hour.
Have fun at AKL. We LOVED it!

Jambo has the nicest laundry rooms I've seen in WDW - LOL!! I do wash almost every trip so I've been in them all.

I don't know about Kidani but in Jambo there are 2 laundry rooms, as a PP pointed out.
One on the left trail (Kudu) and the other (larger) one is off of the right trail (Zebra) and on the ground floor. Right beside Simba's Cubhouse. Have a great time!

There is one on the 5th floor which is free for those staying in the villas. You will need your room key for entry. Detergent and softener available for purchase.
I've seen a laundry room with coin operated machines on the ground floor somewhere.
