I haven't received any live updates yet today, but I still have a couple more updates from Gina (Gina99) to share with you so I will go ahead with those now.

On the evening of 11/30, Gina & her family had dinner at the Polynesian Resort's...

'Ohana

Gina said, "The pineapple coconut bread was delish and everyone’s favourite."

Gina said, "We loved the sweet vinaigrette on the salad."

Gina said, "For appies, my kids loved the potstickers and we liked the chicken wings. I wish the skin on the wings was more crispy. It was more rubbery, which is not a great texture on wings."

Gina said, "We drank the Lapu Lapu’s and Armando’s pic drinking is very dramatic. He is quite serious about his rum."

"We didn’t take pics of the meat but found that the chicken and shrimp were the best. The steak was overcooked. The pork wasn't anything to write home about."

Gina said, "To die for" was the dessert. I've seen people talking about it but OMG! I had no idea. Easily one of our fave desserts of the trip!"

On the last day of their trip (12/1), Gina & family had breakfast with the princesses at...

For her entree, Gina chose...

STEAK AND EGGS
Grilled Filet Mignon on a mild Chipotle-Caramelized Onion Frittata served with Rosemary-Lemon Roasted Potatoes

Gina said, "The frittatta was great, the steak a bit rubbery."

LOBSTER AND CRAB CRêPES
Warm Cheese-filled Crêpes topped with Spinach, Sautéed Lobster, and Blue Crab Meat with a Poached Egg perched on top and draped in Hollandaise Sauce

Gina said, "Armando had the lobster & crab crepes and they were amazing. He said this was his best breakfast of the trip."

Gina said, "Gabe had the kids plated breakfast and both kids loved the French Toast sticks.
You can see he was a bit excited to meet the princesses."

Gina then said, "Finally, as our last stop, we hit the Duty Free for some tequila and chocolate before hopping on the plane back to Canada. They go together, right??"

Oh my Gina wowed me with the photo of the strawberry sauce on the puffed french toast! I have to admit that I have never thought of doing that and now I really, really, want to try it!!

Barb I don't know how you do it but you keep this thread alive and entertaining!!

So are you still planning on going to WDW in March?? Sorry if you have already said, it's hard to keep up with everyones plans.

I'm coming to the end of my DR and feeling a bit like you were about last August!!

Hi Brenda! To answer your question regarding WDW in March, umm...well actually I don't know the answer to that question.

I have the resort reservations, I have the ADRs, I have the plans for DISmeets, now I just need the cooperation of my family. For some reason they are resisting going to Disney World during one of the busiest weeks of the year (the week before Easter). Go figure???

But I plan to butter them up real good over the holidays and then approach the subject again in January. I'd say there is about a 50 - 50 chance my plan will work.

So how about you? Still thinking about February? I am need of live reporters for the February team.

Good morning everyone!

Sorry I was MIA last night but I took the night off to go see one of my favorite Christmas movies at the Normal Theater.

For those of you poor, unfortunate people who aren't familiar with this, it's White Christmas with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney (you know, George's aunt

). Last weekend we saw another Bing Crosby Christmas classic, Holiday Inn. Both movies are shown every year (in addition to others like The Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life) and every year they sell out the theater, which I think is absolutely fantastic!

But I digress, you aren't here to talk about my love of old Christmas movies. You are here to see live updates of food from Disney World, which I just happen to have for you X 3.

Jill said, "I really liked the batter on these."

Lamb chop, Guinness banger, sirloin steak, black pudding, chicken drumstick & bacon.

Jill said, "DH had this and enjoyed everything except the black pudding, but liked the lamb the most. That's a lot of meat!"

It's not bleedin' Chowder!
That's what Master Chef said! It's the freshest cuts of seafood & potatoes in a white wine infused cream broth. But it’s not chowder. Ok?

Jill said, "It was really good. I had to stop myself from finishing the whole thing so I can walk out of here tonight!"

disneydivamama said, "I am so sorry. DD has still not been feeling well, so I have been snuggling her and not taking pics.
Here is a Lapu Lapu from 'Ohana. Yum!"

She also said, "Our "Ohana experience was awesome! We had a very personable cousin, and then the chef was awesome with my DH. I wish that I could've sat there all night long and eaten more bread pudding! Everything was the freshest it has ever been, and I wonder if that was because we went to an early seating. Who knows??

ddm said, "I didn't take other meal pics, but had to get one to show the sheer amount of food I got. Let me reiterate, DH had his own food because of his gluten allergy. I had enough food for 10 people! I even invited our cousin to join us!

Sorry I was MIA last night but I took the night off to go see one of my favorite Christmas movies at the Normal Theater. For those of you poor, unfortunate people who aren't familiar with this, it's White Christmas with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney (you know, George's aunt ). Last weekend we saw another Bing Crosby Christmas classic, Holiday Inn. Both movies are shown every year (in addition to others like The Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life) and every year they sell out the theater, which I think is absolutely fantastic! But I digress, you aren't here to talk about my love of old Christmas movies. You are here to see live updates of food from Disney World, which I just happen to have for you X 3. The first update from last night was from Jill (jmm476). She and her family were at Downtown Disney last night and had dinner at... Raglan Road Here is what they had... Onion Rings Jill said, "I really liked the batter on these." Mighty Mixed Grill Lamb chop, Guinness banger, sirloin steak, black pudding, chicken drumstick & bacon. Jill said, "DH had this and enjoyed everything except the black pudding, but liked the lamb the most. That's a lot of meat!" It's not bleedin' Chowder! That's what Master Chef said! It's the freshest cuts of seafood & potatoes in a white wine infused cream broth. But it’s not chowder. Ok? Jill said, "It was really good. Coral Reef Here is what they had... Grilled New York Strip Steak served with Roasted Potatoes, Mushrooms, Spinach, and Red Wine Sauce JL015 said, "My DH and mom both had this and loved it." Coral Reef Lobster Orecchiette Pasta with White Cheddar Cheese and Basil Oil JL015 said, "I had the lobster pasta. It was good, but the steak was WAY better!" Then for their desserts, they chose... Classic Vanilla Crème Brûlée JL015 said, "I had Creme Brûlée for dessert. Delicious!! I should have ordered another." Baileys and Jack Daniel’s Mousse with a Caramel Crisp JL015 said, "DH had the Baileys and Jack Daniels mousse. He devoured it!" Orange Cheesecake with Blood Orange Sauce JL015 said, "Mom had the Blood Orange cheesecake. She loved this." In conclusion, JessiLynn said, "Overall it was a great meal. She and her family were at the Polynesian Resort last night for dinner at... 'Ohana Lapu Lapu Myers's Original Dark rum and tropical fruit juices served in a fresh pineapple topped with Bacardi 151 rum disneydivamama said, "I am so sorry. DD has still not been feeling well, so I have been snuggling her and not taking pics. Here is a Lapu Lapu from 'Ohana. Yum!" She also said, "Our "Ohana experience was awesome! We had a very personable cousin, and then the chef was awesome with my DH. I wish that I could've sat there all night long and eaten more bread pudding! Everything was the freshest it has ever been, and I wonder if that was because we went to an early seating. Who knows?? Honey Coriander Chicken Wings & Pork fried dumplings ddm said, "I didn't take other meal pics, but had to get one to show the sheer amount of food I got. Let me reiterate, DH had his own food because of his gluten allergy. I had enough food for 10 people!
