Discounted Online place for glasses?

Help!

I know I've read a thread on here abt. a great online website everyone seems to get their prescription eyewear from, but I can't seem to remember or find it!

I've used a contact place that got raves from users on here but can someone please let me know the excellent place for prescription eyeglasses?

Thank You!!

I've heard there are 2 great/cheap places online, Zenni Optical and Coastal. My husband got his first pair free from Coastal.com.

I always use ZenniOptical. They have great prices and I have gotten more compliments on my glasses from there!

My BF uses Zenni Optical as well and really likes the glasses he has gotten.

Eyebuydirect.com and Goggles4u.com are two sites I use pretty regularly. Just ordered a pair yesterday...total with shipping $14.95.

I just replaced DS (9) glassess for the 3rd time this year and was looking for some of these sites to keep a spare or 2 around the house. Thanks for the info. Now, how about some contact sites other than 1800contacts. TIA

I have used eyebuydirect.com twice now. If you go this route, look for a promo code before you buy. I have saved that way both times. The glasses are my DS15. He has never had a problem with the glasses that we bought from the site.

I used eyebuydirect. I am very happy with them. I got an entire pair of glasses for $80ish dollars...That included thin lenses since I have a high prescription.

Last time I bought glasses I went through Lens Crafters and it cost me $300 and I think these glasses are just as good.

I was looking at zenni optical, I didn't like that they up charged for a strong prescription....

I love 1800contacts because they price match. I found contacts for half the price that 1800contacts was charging, but I wasn't crazy about the website and didn't want to use them...so I bought from 1800contacts and immediately sent them the link for the other site and within 2 hours I got an email from they saying they were crediting my order!

Another one to try is 39 dollar glasses. Most of them are $39, but they do have some that are slightly more expensive.

I love 39 dollar glasses and can always find coupons for them that brings it down to 20-25!

I felt a little guilty yesterday when I picked up DD from school only to find out that she'd just got hit in the eye with a football. After I made sure she was okay, my first thought was thank god she had her $15 zenni glasses on and not her $300 doctor's office ones (though the zenni ones are just as nice.)

We have used Warby Parker. They send you ones to try on for free and then you can see them easily. Also, when you buy a pair from them, they send a pair to a deserving person who can't afford their needed glasses.

DH buys from Zenni Optical now. Actually just placed an order last night after our DS decided to jump on them and it snapped! We purchased 2 pairs with shipping for $32.00. They are exactly the same frames he used to get from the eye doctor for about 1/10th the cost!!!
