Do you like the parks in the day or by night?

I like both but if I had to choose I would go with the daylight hours. I love the colors and the different views you experience.

I love the parks at night!

I think the castle, hat, tree, and Epcot ball are very cool looking at night!

AK is the best park for awesome night time pictures IMO!

I love the night time experience. I am a total night owl and would prefer to stay as late as possible. The rest of the family doesn't quite feel the same way though, so that doesn't happen too often. lol

I was just thinking about this very question! It's funny how often I'm pondering something Disney-related, & come to this forum and find someone asking that very thing!

For me, DL (and the MK) are the perfect park for evening: that wonderful dusk-to-dark time that is often called "gloaming". It's cooling off, and just starting to get dark, and the crowds are (usually) thinning out, but the lights start twinkling on, promising a whole evening of more fun... Disneyland at dusk is my favorite place at my favorite time of day.

AK is also great at dusk, and early in the morning. With little shade in the park, it's nice to visit during cooler hours, and the animals tend to be more visible & more active then.

Future World is a late morning, early afternoon kind of place. Bright and sunny, so you dive for that shade and the A/C. When you finish one pavilion, you sprint (as much as you can) for the next one...

World Showcase is (conveniently enough) best at dinner time / dusk.

HS? It's my least favorite park, so it's hard for me to say. However, I'd say its best rides & attractions are indoors, so afternoon is great there too.

So, my ideal WDW day would be as follows:

Early morning Safari & animal visits at AK.
Late morning / early afternoon at HS.
Afternoon at Future World, early dinner at World Showcase.
Night at MK.
Perfect day... done!

Night time is the right time. Thinner crowds (sometimes), lights all on and outdoor attractions very different. Even some indoor attractions are better by night, for example HM and ToT!

BTMRR is better tenfold at night, so is Splash.

Night. I hate the heat! That's why I'm so excited to be leaving next week instead of our usual June trip.

Love the parks at night!!!! The lights, the colors, the little touches that aren't there during the day make it extra magical.

Both, of course.

I like e MK better during the day. I love Epcot at night.

AK is so rarely open at night, but when it is, I love it. That park is amazing at dawn, noon, dusk and night.

DHS kind of sucks all the time, but I do like it better at night.
Yes, your kids will have fun at Uni and Epcot!
ALWAYS pee before riding the monorail!
Fantasmic sucks.

We love Epcot at night. Future World is not crowded and you don't have the sun beating down on the acres of concrete at night. I can't take a lot of sun, so this park is best done in late afternoon and evening.

I love nighttime. No sun to worry about sunburning you, a lot of the rides seem better at night. (Jungle Cruise, BTMRR, Swiss Family Treehouse) I love everything all lit up. Epcot has the torches lit.

My favorite time in the parks is twilight. The lights are just starting to come on and the sun has just disappeared. There's something magical about it for me!
