Just Back

We have been thrice in four years and this was our best trip yet! Thanks for all of your tips and information. Observations...

Crowds were great! Never more than a ten minute wait and most were walk one including all three mountains after lunch! Only crowded park we hit was AK and it was predicted to be so...still only a 6.0

Characters were great! We may have just been in right place at right time but we saw so many more with little to no lines! Freezone did the Ghanghim Style dance with our ten year old twins!

Food was good. I am not a huge fan of disney food but our service and food was better than in the past. We ate at...

Ohana's
San Angel Inn
T-Rex (food was bleh but fun nonetheless!)
Tusker house (lunch)
Prime Time
CRT Breakfast (food was Luke warm though)
Be Our Guest (dinner was best of all!)

Any questions?

Welcome home Holly,
Was it warm enough to swim. we've been once before in Dec and it was really cold. My family is a family of fishes so they were disappointed they couldn't swim.

It was warmer than we expected....the reports when we left said low 70s and it was 80-81 most days...we didn't go swimming but even at night plenty of others did!

So great to hear about the crowds!!! And such good weather you had too!

We leave Saturday and I am hoping for the same things.....despite the 20-30% of rain chance every day in the forecast.

Be Our Guest was fantastic! I can not imagine this will stay one table service credit for long. We ate in the ballroom. It looks exactly like the movie. They invited us to tour around. The West Wing was cool, albeit dark. The food was very good. My father had the salmon and said it was his best meal at disney thus far (we didn't do any signatures). I had the shrimp and scallops and they were tasty. Most everyone else had steak and loved it! The desserts are just okay but the presentation is very nice. Beast comes out like every 20-30 minutes and walks the floor (doesn't stop or meet) then after your meal you can meet him and get pictures (photo pass photographer there). I had the Pinot noir too and it was a nice selection.

Well worth the effort to make the reservation! I am sure lunch is nice there too!

Glad to hear about Be Our Guest.

...but dang, that makes dinner decisions a lot more difficult. We normally spend two of our days at MK during our stay and I think our must do's next year are 'Ohanas, CRT, and now we'll really want to try Be Our Guest.

Oh well, good problem to have I guess.

Dan

Will we be able to get on Test Track later in the day (5-5pm-ish)...or is it too popular right now?
