ImaginEar Talks

On our last 2 cruises (Nov 09 and Jan 11), we have attended sessions led by ImaginEars on board the Magic in the Buena Vista Theater. We are sailing in January on the Fantasy and were wondering if they still did this event or if it was just on the Magic. We really enjoyed these events, as we met one of the interior designers on our last cruise, who designed the suite in Cinderella's Castle. We would love to do this again, but don't see any reference in the most recent Navigators.

Tom Stags (spelling?) was on the Dream's MV and Chris Beatty spoke on one cruise about Fantadyland stuff. Not sure if this is exactly what you mean, but there are talks given? HTH

Typically on Eastern cruises (which have an "extra" sea day), we have experienced someone from the Disney company doing typically a series of 2 or 3 lectures or demos as part of the adult education series. We've had people from Imagineering, Broadway actors, etc. We did have such a person on the our Fantasy Eastern. From what we've learned, some of these people are assigned to cruise and do the program as part of their employment. Others had scheduled a cruise with their family and were able to arrange to cruise free in exchange for their presentations.
