Last place to refuel before Port Canaveral?

Hi everyone, need to fill up our rental car on the way to Port Canaveral tomorrow. Where's the last place to do so?

There is a Race Trac gas station 1/2 block before the Budget drop off point. This is actually just past the terminal area in CAPE Canaveral. The road curves to the right, and the gas station, Budget, and Hertz are on the right side. Thrifty is about 3-4 miles farther down the road in Cocoa Beach.

In the "fine print" of some of the car rental companys.....if you drive your rental less than 75 mile [ which mco to the port is] and rent for 1day and turn it in, they want to see a gas receipt. Or they can charge you a $10.00 sir-charge....so hang on to that gas receipt.....its there, very small in the fine print. I personally was never ask to see it ,but I always had it close-at-hand.

I've seen this too and always have gas receipt in hand when checking car back in.

In general, they don't ask at Cape Canaveral, but they DO at MCO.

I have been asked for the receipt twice (out of 5 or 6 rentals) at Budget in Cape Canaveral. So, not every time, but it can happen. Even if they don't ask, it's probably a good idea to bring it up before they finalize the rental charges at the counter.
