DCL 2014 Do you go or just say NO!
Just wondering of those of us who have been waiting for months for the 2014 dates to come out, how many booked and how many said heck NO!

BTW
I canceled our $9725 cat 4b June 29 Fantasy. Hoping a change to May 31 and some fuel perks from gift cards will make up the $2000 difference between Fantasy and Allure. So I'm weighing my options. |

I don't know what the question is? "Did you book DCL 2014 with the big in price?" Is there a word missing?

Booked one of two I was planning.
Went with $4200 Spring break on Fantasy ($1,000 MORE than I paid in same cat/room for same cruise in 2013) Passed on Aug 2 Fantasy $5800. Will wait for VGT rate....... We are used to paying ~$3K for our 7-night cruises.....Gone are the days I guess!! ![]() The reasonably priced cruises seem to only be during the school year. I expected summer to be high, but not the exorbitant prices they are. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Had no intention of booking a cruise but the price was too cheap (for Disney standards) to pass up! $2270 for 4 in a veranda on a 5 day

We booked. The price wasnt too bad, but I also booked in mid May. Seems like all the
are the ones who booked over the summer and spring break.

Maybe it is just me being lucky, but I haven't seen a big increase in price from 2013.. I priced three cruises with the same itinerary as 2013 and two were cheaper and 1 was $300 more for 2A1C. I booked two of them.

Our OBB was moved 2014 but I am just parking it there in case I need it. Likely I will end up canceling it and waiting for a *GT rate. We are def not sailing on our current ressie.

I just saw the most ridiculous quote I have ever seen. Aug 23 2014 eastern R suite for 2A3C ... wait for it ... 37 thousand ...are they out of their minds?!? This is for the same old eastern 7 day ... Geez!!!
No thanks, no way! For the same cruise a T (1 bedroom) is over 20 thousand ... ![]() ![]() ![]() Au revoir DCL, hello Haven |
