There is no reason believe that there will be a big ugly Starbuvcks sign. Here is what the Starbucks looks like on Buena Vista Street in DCA:

I concur, I concur!

I love me some Starbucks, but I'd rather have Nescrap and the Main Street Bakery than NO Main Street Bakery and Starbucks. Wahhhhhhh!!!!!

Don't know if anyone has heard or not, but they have changed their minds on this. They will keep the bakery as is and serve Starbucks rather then make it a starbucks

Particularly given that they will close for several months before switching to Starbucks, it sounds more like they simply hired a better marketing or pr firm to describe what is ultimately probably a good thing. Somehow they originally bungled the announcement of the plan to serve improved product, while keeping the old products that were popular, in exchange for what will likely be minor tweaks to the internal decor.

I always understood that to be the case from the start.

Disney California Adventure has been serving Starbucks for 6 months now. The product isn't sold at "Starbucks", it's available at "Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe."

Nothing wrong with the "Main St. Bakery" offering "Starbucks" coffee, but if I feel like I just walked into a Starbucks I won't go back.
